"Working with Erica was an absolute dream. She has such a unique talent for capturing moments in a way that not many people can. Instead of overly posed shots, Erica focuses on the moments in between. She sets the scene and then let things happen naturally. For our engagement photoshoot, Erica trekked through the woods with us to a secluded location by a small Adirondack pond and made the whole day feel like an adventure just for us. She made us feel comfortable and confident, and that shows through in the pictures. Some of my favorite shots from that day are the ones that weren’t posed. They’re the moments that Erica caught us just being ourselves. I can’t wait to work with Erica again. I know that she’ll go above and beyond to capture my important moments just right."

"Erica is absolutely amazing. My Fiancée had proposed to me back in January and I knew I wanted to propose back. I posted on Facebook looking for someone who was comfortable shooting a lgbt couple last minute for engagement round 2. Erica commented back with the sweetest message and I immediately knew she was the photographer for us. My fiancée and I were new to the DMV area and Erica was so kind to reach out to the location of the proposal to help set things up. She was very prompt with her replies and was very reassuring the day would be perfect. When it came to the proposal; my fiancée and I had been placed in awkward poses with previous photographers, but Erica knew exactly what she was doing with a wlw couple. She even came with inspo poses which made us feel so comfortable. After 2 weeks we received the pictures and they are everything and more than what we were expecting. We would definitely recommend Erica and common thread photo. We will be booking her again for future sessions."
