My Process

 

1. SET THE INTENTION

 

Start by telling me what you’re planning and how you want it to feel.


Relaxed. Playful. Intimate. Celebratory. Unhurried.


From there, I’ll help shape the right approach, whether we’re planning a family or couples session around you, documenting a proposal or event already in motion, or keeping things simple with a seasonal session.


You don’t need to arrive with a shot list. We’ll figure out the details together.

 

 

2. PLAN THE DETAILS

 

Before your session, we’ll take care of the pieces that make everything feel easier once the camera comes out.


For family and couples sessions, I’ll help with location, timing, light, styling and the overall flow of our time together.


For events and proposals, we’ll align on timing, priorities, key people and any moments I need to anticipate beforehand.


For seasonal sessions, the date and location are already thoughtfully selected so you can simply show up and enjoy it.

 

 

3. BE IN THE MOMENT

 

On the day, I’ll give you direction when it helps and step back when it doesn’t.


You’ll move, talk, laugh, celebrate, play, or simply spend time together while I photograph both the images you know you want and the moments happening naturally around them.


Nothing needs to be perfectly performed. The goal is to give you enough guidance to feel comfortable without photographing the life out of the moment.

 

 

4. KEEP WHAT MATTERS

 

Afterward, your photographs are professionally edited and delivered through a private online gallery.


Family + Couples Sessions include the full edited gallery. Events + Proposals include the number of photographs included with your coverage, with additional images available when applicable. Threads of the Season includes 20 edited images.


From there, you can download, share and turn the photographs you love most into prints, wall art and keepsakes designed to live beyond the screen.
